1921 S Morgan Silver Dollar Almost Uncirculated - Brilliant Uncirculated (AU-BU) (90% Silver)

Morgan Silver Dollars were minted from 1878 through 1904 and again for 1 year in 1921 at the following US Mint facilities: Philadelphia, New Orleans, Carson City, Denver and San Francisco. George T. Morgan designed the Morgan Dollar with his initial "M" being found on the truncation of the neck on the obverse as well as on the reverse in the left-hand loop of the ribbon. In 1904 the mintage of the silver dollar was suspended due to low demand and low bullion supply, then resumed again in 1921 switching over to the Peace Silver Dollar design.

The obverse of the Morgan Silver Dollar features a detailed portrait of Lady Liberty, designed by George T. Morgan. She is depicted wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with a ribbon. The inscriptions include "LIBERTY" at the top, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" along a ribbon across the bottom, and the date "1921" positioned at the bottom of the portrait. The reverse showcases a bald eagle with outstretched wings, clutching an olive branch in its right talon and arrows in its left. The eagle is encircled by a wreath, with the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" above and "ONE DOLLAR" below.
